Our family has been vacationing at Fripp Island for years, and we've stayed in many different rental homes over that time. None of them have compared to Rolling Tides. Once we discovered this home, it quickly became our favorite, and we've made it a point to reserve our week a year in advance to make sure we don't miss out.
We've rented Rolling Tides for many consecutive summers, and several years we've even stayed for multiple weeks because we enjoy it so much. The location is fantastic—it's conveniently close to the marina and its pool, which is typically much less crowded than the others. It's also just a short golf cart ride to the beach, restaurants, and all of Fripp's other amenities.
The house is always spotless when we arrive, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything our family needs for a comfortable stay. It's also incredibly spacious. Even with our group of nine, everyone has plenty of room to spread out and relax without ever feeling crowded. One of the biggest perks is that the rental includes two golf carts, which is hard to beat. Having two carts makes getting everyone around the island easy and is a tremendous value compared to renting them separately.
Rolling Tides truly feels like a home away from home. We couldn't recommend it more highly, and we look forward to making many more family memories here for years to come.

We have stayed here for the past 3-4 years and love it!!! It feels like our home away from home. The owner is amazing to work with and the house has everything you could possibly need. It’s very close to the beach access and the Cabana Club.

This was our families 2nd stay at Rolling Tides- we love it! It has become a home away from home for our family. We have been coming to Fripp for over 25 years and Rolling Tides has been our favorite rental. The location is perfect and having 2 golf carts is ideal for our large family. We also love that every bedroom has a bathroom. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we could need. Our family loved eating together at the large dining table, watching the deer in the backyard, and relaxing on the screened in porch. Communication was clear and our questions were always answered quickly. We can’t wait to return!

This rental was perfect for our vacation at Fripp! The home is well-maintained, very clean, organized, and extremely comfortable. It’s equipped with all the necessities for an extended stay. The owners were very responsive and provided all the information needed to make our visit enjoyable. The access to two golf carts was a big plus for our family. We would definitely rent this nice home again.

We booked Rolling Tides mainly for the space and location, and it delivered on both. The house is spotless, the layout works great for families, and the two golf carts made getting around the island super easy. The screened porch became our nightly hangout spot.
As a pickleball player, I loved how close we were to the newly renovated Racquet Club. The updated courts look brand new — fresh surfaces, better fencing, and more dedicated pickleball courts than before. The clinics and round robins were well run and a fun way to meet people.
If you want a comfortable, well‑kept house with quick access to great pickleball, Rolling Tides is hard to beat.

The house was super cute, clean, and had plenty of room for a bunch of moms seeking a quick getaway/birthday celebration together. It was rainy for a part of the trip but we made the most of it with coffee then cocktails on the comfy screened-in porch and living room areas. When the sun came out, we were ready to hit the beach so the golf carts came in clutch for getting us to and from with everything we needed to enjoy our day.
Loved it so much- we never left!

Enjoyed the best girls trip at Rolling Tides. It rained a majority of our trip, so we spent a lot of time at the house- in fact we never even moved the car after we arrived! The kitchen was the most stocked/organized of any place I’ve ever stayed. Beach was easily walkable and we caught one sunset a couple of houses down over the marsh area. Everything was so clean and organized and beautifully decorated. We will definitely be back!

We love coming to Fripp! It’s our happy place and we have been coming for many years. Love Rolling Tides- plenty of space for the whole fam, nice central location on the island, well equipped kitchen, and plenty of beach chairs/toys in the garage. Golf carts provided were a huge plus! House is updated, clean and meticulously maintained. We already have another trip booked in May for a girls trip!

This is one of my favorite times to be on the island. It’s almost like you have your own “private” island. Rolling Tides is a phenomenal house. We have stayed there multiple times and it’s great for big families or multiple families. 4 bedrooms and each has their own private bathroom! Lots of space to hang out with the living room and big dining room table in the same space. It has a large bunk room for when you are tired of the kids running around (or the kids get tired of you!) I love that once you pull onto the island, you don’t have to get back into your car until you go to leave the island. The 2 golf carts that are provided and included in the price of the house help you save the expense of renting one or two and are awesome to do some exploring around the island. It takes literally 3 minutes to get to the best beach access on the island and we always love to fish from the bridge, the beach, or the pier at Wardles Landing. Great time and a great house to reconnect with family and friends. I would highly recommend Rolling Tides for your next Fripp Island stay! PS…keep an eye out for deer…we saw them everyday in the back yard and you can watch them from the dining room window or sitting on the back screened in porch!
